Both Punjab Kings and the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) expressed deep sorrow over his passing, sharing heartfelt tributes. The PCA highlighted his dedication and passion for Punjab cricket, noting his contributions both on and off the field.

Amanpreet Singh Gill was a right-arm medium-fast bowler who represented Punjab in First-Class cricket and played for India’s U-19 side. Beyond his playing career, he also served as a member of the PCA Senior Selection Committee across multiple seasons, helping shape the future of Punjab cricket.
